This Privacy Policy explains what personal data ASVAB Ready ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. ASVAB Ready is a free website for practising the U.S. military ASVAB test and is operated by Hamilton Technologies.
ASVAB Ready is operated by Hamilton Technologies, the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us about privacy at corri.jones@hamiltontechnologies.co.uk.
ASVAB Ready is free and you can practise without creating an account. We collect only what we need to run the service:
We do not collect location data. ASVAB Ready is a website and does not access your device's GPS or precise location.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the service you request); legitimate interests (to secure, analyse and improve the service, and to run leaderboards), balanced against your rights; and consent (for any non-essential analytics or marketing emails). You can withdraw consent at any time.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
We use cookies and browser local storage for essential functions (remembering your preferences and, if you are not signed in, your scores) and, where enabled, for privacy-friendly analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.
If you create an account, we keep your account and practice data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Scores stored locally in your browser stay on your device until you clear them. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data (see your rights below).
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and regulators of serious breaches where the law requires.
ASVAB Ready is operated from the United Kingdom and serves users in the United States and elsewhere, so your data may be processed outside your home country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect it.
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; obtain a portable copy; and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, contact corri.jones@hamiltontechnologies.co.uk.
U.S. residents: depending on your state (for example California, under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. To make a request, contact us at the address above.
UK/EU residents also have the right to complain to a data protection regulator (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
ASVAB Ready is operated by Hamilton Technologies. This document is provided for transparency and does not constitute legal advice.
